Call me a conspiracy theorist but I have been right about many other things that seem far fetched. FLOTUS of NY is a jihadi. Daughter of an affluent Syrian American family of which we know little. ‘Raised between Dubai and the United States’. As one is. Are there photos of Mamdani and his wife dating over the many years they allegedly did? Can we see them? She came out of nowhere, tons of press, huge stagey wedding not in the US (their friends presumably are American), awkward body language between them, and frankly, no disrespect to anyone’s sexuality, they both seem, well, not that heterosexual to me. What might she really doing here, in the middle of NYC’s national security secrets? Needs deeper asking.

Here’s how

“How did America's poorest state Mississippi go from being ranked 49th in the nation for reading in 2013 to 9th in 2024 while spending just $32 per student? In 2013, Mississippi passed the Literacy based Promotion Act and started investing in the building blocks of education, systematically phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.

They based their approach on research by IES, which showed kids need explicit, carefully sequenced phonics instruction, teaching the relationship between letters and sounds, not just guessing words from pictures and context clues.

Mississippi also focused on training K-three teachers and put literacy coaches in struggling schools.

They even started to hold back third graders who couldn't read proficiently, paired with intensive support to catch up.

The results speak for themselves. Between 2013 and 2024, reading scores declined by more than 10 points in nearly every state except Mississippi, the only one that improved.”

What's even more shocking is how fast it happens in Ontario

- In 2023, 219 people were killed within a day requesting medical assistance and dying
- 30% died the very same day they asked the government for permission

Assisted suicide has been legal in Canada for less than a decade, but it's already become a routine part of the healthcare system, and over time, the safeguards have been removed. The ten-day reflection period that used to be required gone.

You don't even have to be terminally ill anymore.

One disturbing case involved a woman in her eighties known as Mrs. B. She initially told her family she wanted assisted suicide, but then changed her mind, citing her personal and religious beliefs. The next day, her husband requested another assessment. One evaluator already raised concerns about possible coercion and caregiver burnout, but a third evaluator proved request after an online assessment, she was dead by the end of the day.

As one doctor told me, hastening death becomes a path of least resistance. It's efficient, and it saves the healthcare system money. Once the state legitimizes what's easy, efficient, and cheap, it becomes very hard to choose a different path.“

Question: you are at a festive dinner and the seating is arranged so you can’t get up, and the people directly facing you (in my generation, among your conversation partners) are on their phones the entire time. During the speech of the host. During every single course. You are at the corner of the table so there is no one to talk to but the person on your left, who must talk (per courtesy) to the person on his left as well as to you. So you are stuck at the corner, immobilized, facing two people on their phones much of the evening. What do you do? In my nightmares I would not have imagined social life would devolve to this degree.
