🇮🇷| Iran’s IRGC Navy says it carried out an offensive operation against American terrorists, striking the “Al-Udayri Helicopter Base” (Camp Buehring) in Kuwait with various drones and cruise missiles.

The announcement says this highly significant operation, foiled operational plans, and eyewitnesses and informed sources reported a panicked evacuation from the base.

In this attack, 11 highly important targets at the base were hit by several missiles and drones.

Among the destroyed targets were the base’s fuel tanks, gas tanks, the American helicopters’ ramp, logistics and support facilities, and the base’s infrastructure installations.

The election of Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader was not merely an act of defiance to the US, but an affirmation of sovereignty whose meaning is inseparable from the conditions under which it occurred.

Trump had explicitly declared his candidacy unacceptable, demanded full control over the selection process, and warned that whoever was chosen would not last long without the US' approval, hubristically granting himself the right to determine Iran's next supreme leader and its political destiny. Israel went further, threatening to kill any successor and any member of the Assembly of Experts who participated in the selection. The Islamic Republic proceeded nonetheless, moving through its constitutional process under existential military pressure.

The fact that several members of Mojtaba's own family were killed in US strikes lends further weight to this argument. The US' demand for control over Iran's succession was therefore not simply a strategic miscalculation but a profound failure to understand what sovereign self-determination means for a hyper-independent revolutionary Islamic Shia republic whose raison d'être has always been the pursuit of sovereignty against precisely this kind of imperial power.

In this context, every statement Trump has made declaring the outcome unacceptable became, retrospectively, the condition of possibility for the act's sovereign meaning. What the US set in motion is a cycle it cannot break, because every Supreme Leader Iran elects under threat of assassination will, by the very conditions of his election, become the living embodiment of the sovereignty it seeks to eradicate.

The power to stop the genocide in Gaza was always there.
From the very first day.
The region that fuels the world could have shaken the entire global system with a single political decision. It could have forced the hands of those who armed the massacre and protected it.
But that power was buried under complicity and fear of its colonial employer.
So the question is no longer whether the Arab world could have stopped the slaughter.
The question is why it didn't.
And one day, when the smoke clears and the mass graves speak louder than the speeches, many leaders will have to answer a far more difficult question than any journalist could ever ask:
What will they say when they stand before God and are asked why they watched and did nothing?
