As part of the AKOFADA Project, Shega has been localizing DFS terminology into Amharic and Afan Oromo by reviewing existing translations, fixing inconsistencies, and making key terms clearer and more usable.

We are now inviting feedback on the Amharic translations through a validation session.

Through local language radio programs, community roadshows, and direct teaching sessions, the campaign meets people where they are and helps make digital finance simple and practical for real daily needs. Over the weekend, this work continued in West Oromia, where an organized, vibrant, and colorful DFS community edutainment event took place in the center of Ambo. Today Shega joined the FCA Ethiopia Job Fair at WeVenture Hub, hosted under the Digital and Creative Economies (DICE) Project.
