Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله stated:

How amazing it is for the one who claims to love, but he is in need of one to remind him of his Beloved One.

He doesn't remember his Beloved One except when one reminds him.

The least of that which is in love, is love doesn't cause you to forget to remember the One you (claim) to love!
