🤕 Most of us will eventually face some type of injury, or are going through one right now. That's the reality of fitness.

🩹 It's very important to treat them correctly in order to recover quickly. That also requires correct identification of the problem.

❗️ And here's the catch. People will often try to find out what's wrong and/or how to treat it by themselves instead of consulting a professional.

⚠️ It's ok to look up how to treat a strained muscle for example. However if the problem is not going away, reoccurring, you feel pain, it's getting worse and so on, then visiting a professional might save you a lot of recovery time and possibly save you from serious long-term health issues.

💡 There are of course some consequences, after all, you're giving away a decent amount of your precious oxygen transporter.

❓ Short-term you shouldn't work out for a day or two after donation. There are also some possible longer lasting effects, mainly a temporary reduction in endurance performance and in some cases, iron-deficiency.

🧬 There have been a number of studies on the influence air temperature has on marathon finishing times.

❓ This research has revealed that the optimal temperature range for most groups of runners seems to be between 44° F and 59° F (7–15° C).  Below and above this range, marathon finish times tend to become slower, on average.
