The terrestrial civilization has reached a level of high value with regard to cutting-edge technology, to knowledge achievements, to the great challenges of intelligence, and has been using programs for general solidarity and a sense of respect and compliance with the laws that promote the outward progress and the amenities flowing from it.
From the gloomy cave to the luxury apartment and from the filth to the most extravagant hygiene, with intense searches for the extension of a pleasurable physical existence rich in personal benefits, society has been struggling to overcome concerns about illness, loneliness, suffering in general...
The effort to enjoy comfort, not infrequently, leads to the egotistical torment of abuse of power, indifference to existing sufferings and disrespect for the duties that life imposes on all its members.
Audacious achievements multiply, the exaggerated luxury reaches unimaginable levels, the extravagances of the powerful materials recall the parties in Venice, in which, after the sumptuous dinners, they culminated in throwing the objects of use, all of high price, into the muddy waters. The rich were amused to see the poor adventurers who threw themselves in madness over the brownish pond to save crockery and cutlery, as well as silver and gold objects, which adorned the nababas tables, while the wine, overcoming their madness, facilitated the practice of aberrations.
With the reduction of physical distances in the face of the precious resource of virtual communications and air travel, the Earth has become a global village, facilitating increasingly demanding relationships and greedy behaviors.
The eagerness to domain in politics, in society, in economy, unfortunately, has facilitated insane and dishonest behaviors, pushing the unfortunate masses, always in greater volume, towards absolute misery. Totally unknown, and when they are seen or appear in communications, they are disrespected or found there because of the absurdities of which they are victims, for the crimes that give them life or in a cry for mercy, for justice, under the umbrellas of exaggerated suffering.
This has been the world of derision and the apparent glories of culture and civilization, where the rates of death from hunger, abandonment, disease and now the pandemic frighten anyone of average emotional balance.
There are ghosts that terrify everywhere.
Children, prematurely matured, without living childhood, are soon initiated into the morbid games of pleasure, without the tenderness of attentive parents and vigilant families, although the few exceptions, acquire unhealthy and premature habits, embarking on hallucinogenic drugs and crazy sex.
Faced with the exaggerated demands for freedom in social coexistence, which is increasingly libertine, it is inevitable to ask where society is heading in this massifying and disordered voluptuousness.
Undoubtedly, the present days are turbulent, when, generally speaking, the existential sense is disappearing, if not the continuous loads of pessimism and violence committed to the destruction of the integral and full being in thought and attitude.
Strange doctrines enjoy citizenship, and the values that enhance the being, contributing to the psychophysical balance of individuals, are replaced by absurd fantasies and extravagant enjoyments.
Fortunately, the Doctrine of Jesus, subjected to cultural and behavioral cynicism, survives with its flame of love and forgiveness, solidarity and goodness, sustaining the millions of lives that are linked to it and work for the order and duty of solidarity.
These hallucinated days pass, because they are part of a period of selection of ideas and existences, which return to Earth carrying unspeakable conflicts and the pain works them, building beautiful results.
