What Happened?

The crypto market is still stuck in a sideways range after the brutal late-January crash. Bitcoin tested several levels but failed to break in either direction convincingly. There was no clear trend this week — just noise.

We saw a few false breakouts during the week. Prices moved outside the range, we followed the signal — and then prices snapped right back inside. We exited with limited losses via stop-losses.

What happened in crypto in 2025:

2025 was brutal. The market experienced sharp rallies followed by devastating corrections. Q4 alone wiped out over $1 trillion in market cap, with Bitcoin falling nearly 30% from its peak. Ethereum struggled even harder, underperforming Bitcoin throughout the year.

Buy-and-hold investors suffered. But our trend-following strategy delivered nearly 100% gains while the market crashed.
