$JUP cooled off hard after the last expansion and is now back in a reset phase on the 8H. Price is sitting around 0.162, which puts it near the mid-range where the market usually decides if this is just a pullback, or the start of a deeper unwind.

As long as JUP holds 0.155, the structure can stabilize and we can see another rotation back toward 0.175. If we lose 0.155 with a clean break and hold, the downside opens toward the lower boundary of the range.

Nvidia's AI chips are consuming memory at an unprecedented pace:

Nvidia's, $NVDA, most recent Rubin chip now requires 288GB of RAM.

This is +800% more than the memory of a high-end PC, and +2,300% more than a high-end smartphone.

By comparison, the H100, launched 4 years ago, needed 80GB of RAM, or 72% less.

In other words, each new generation of Nvidia AI chips requires significantly more memory than the last, putting enormous strain on global supply.

Furthermore, AI giants like Alphabet, $GOOGL, and OpenAI are locking up large portions of the global memory chip supply by purchasing millions of Nvidia AI chips.

As a result, average spot prices for 16GB DDR4 RAM are up +2,352% YoY to a record $76.90, while 8GB DDR4 prices are up +1,873% YoY, to an all-time high of $28.90.

The global memory chip shortage is out of control.

During this period, the top 5 managers, Fidelity, JPMorgan, Charles Schwab, Vanguard, and BlackRock, drove ~69% of total asset growth, with combined assets now at $4.76 trillion.

Their collective market share has risen +14 percentage points to ~58% since 2011.

Overall, total money market fund assets have grown +$5 trillion since 2019, or at a +13.7% compounded annual growth rate (CAGR).

Demand for safe-haven investments remains historically high.

$BTC is still trading inside the larger 8H range, but the latest leg cooled off hard after the spike into the top side. Price is now back around $67.3K, which puts it right in the mid-range where the market usually chops before choosing direction again.

As long as BTC holds the $66K area, the structure stays intact and we can still rotate back toward $70K. If we lose $66K with a clean break and hold, the range starts breaking down and the downside opens toward the lower boundary.

US tech loan market weakness is becoming more apparent:

US tech loan prices have declined -5% year-to-date, to 90 cents, the steepest drop since the 2022 bear market.

European tech loans have fallen -5%, to 89 cents, the lowest in at least 2 years.

The broader US leveraged loan index has declined -2%, to 95 cents, the lowest since the April 2025 selloff.

This marks the largest two-month decline since 2022, when rising US interest rates triggered recession fears.

Furthermore, the number of new US loan offerings has dropped to the lowest since May.

The decline has been primarily driven by software and services companies, amid growing concerns that AI tools will replace their products.

The US credit market is shifting.
